A "Radical" Life
Striving to live a life less-ordinary.

taking requests

In my last blog, I asked for your help to pray for things going on in my life. Several of you responded saying you would pray for me, and I am so grateful for that! This coming Monday I'm going to have my monthly "spiritual retreat" day, where I'll spend the majority of the morning or however long it takes, in prayer (talking to and mostly listening to God).

What do you need prayer for?

I'd like to pray for you...especially for the "big" things. I promise, I'll take them all to God.

We serve a big God who knows us and loves us and who desperately desires for us to come to Him with our junk. We'd be fools not to go to an all-loving and all-powerful God with our problems and questions. So, if you're willing to share with me, I'd love to pray on your behalf. FYI, part of this might involve a bit of confession...I realize that. To ask me to pray for something might mean you have to admit something. Scripture talks about "confessing our sins to one another." It's a really healthy and hard thing to do.

You've got until 8:00 Monday morning. =O)

For healing and health for Clara. For wisdom for my son Kyle to use his God given intellect for whatever God intended.
Wisdom for myself , ie job decisions, and finances !

I am struggling to find where God wants me to be. Specifically work wise. I don't want to go to just a job everyday but I want my job to be a ministry. Also financially things are really hard right now.

You can pray that Bryan and I will have wisdom as we raise Caroline. We want to be an example in word and deed of God's love and the truth of the gospel. Pray that God will pursue her heart at an early age. We are very thankful for the church family God has given us who are willing to come around us and help us guide her, but we know that the ultimate resposibility for teaching her about Christ and the gospel rests on us. Thank you for your prayers and know that you continue to be in mine.:)

Hey all!

Just letting you all know that I have prayer fervently for each of these.

And if you EVER have more that you'd like me to pray for, please let me know!

WHY THE BLOG?

I'm striving to live a life less-ordinary. As followers of Christ our lives should not look like everybody elses. We should be more giving, more loving, more passionate, more sure, more...radical. But we're not. We blend in and desperately want to fit in. This blog is my journey toward to a "radical" life that doesn't look like the rest of the world.
